Here is a typical day for us:
4:00 am – 4:20 am: Aiden wakes up and I nurse him back to sleep.
6:30 am: Aiden wakes up for the day by babbling in his crib to his good friend Scout.
6:30 am – 7:00 am: Bring Aiden into my bed, nurse him and we play together waking up.
7:00 am – 8:00 am: Prep breakfast, eat breakfast and clean up the kitchen. Â Today Aiden ate a yogurt bowl with full-fat greek yogurt, organic O cereal, banana and chia seeds. Â I also gave him his cod liver oil.
8:00 am – 8:30 am: Aiden plays independently which consists of him taking everything out of the towel drawer, kitchen utensil drawer and chasing Otis (who doesn’t want to be bothered).
8:30 am – 9:00 am: Get ready for the gym and head out the door.
9:00 am – 10:00 am: Aiden goes to the gym daycare and is getting really good about going there. Â I usually set him down and he’ll happily walk through the gate into the play area on his own. Â This is definitely a new improvement from the days where I handed him over and he’d cry.
I stretch, run 3 miles, do some abs, and do some cool-down stretching.
10:00 am – 10:45 am: On this particular day, we went to Target to pick up someÂ
necessities unnecessary fun things.  Aiden and I both love perusing through there, but who doesn’t?
11:00 am – 11:30 am: I was shocked that Aiden didn’t fall asleep in the car on the way home because he normally does and then takes his nap when we get home, but today, he just played when we got him while I prepped his lunch.
11:30 am – 12:00 pm: Lunch time! Â Today was a half PB & J sandwich, peas, grapes and almond milk.
I clean up the kitchen real quick and eat some (unpictured) lunch myself that was a salad with romaine lettuce, grilled chicken, tomatoes, and avocado with a honey mustard dressing.
12:00 pm – 1:30 pm: We go outside to play in Aiden’s new pool! Â He romps around in there and in the yard for a bit and then we take a bath at the end to prepare for a late naptime today.
1:30 pm – 4:15 pm: Aiden takes a nap finally and it was a long one for him. Â He was absolutely exhausted. Â On normal days, he takes his nap around 11:00 – 1:00.
During his naptime, we had a tornado warning and the sirens kept going off, but didn’t wake him thankfully. Â I had planned on doing some cleaning and blogging, but I have a nervous-about-weather husband, so I spent basically the entire time looking at weather updates.
During normal nap times, I usually either clean, cook, blog or collapse.
4:15 pm: Aiden wakes up and eats a snack! Â He’s very groggy and takes a bit to wake up, but once he does, he’s ready to rock n’ roll.
4:30 pm – 6:00 pm: Â We got a Blue Apron delivery, so I started cooking some meatball subs that were in there. Â For such a simple recipe, it was kind of labor intensive due to having to prep and cut all the veggies and ingredients.
David is home now and he plays with Aiden too. Â Aiden keeps coming into the kitchen to check on what I’m doing too!
6:00 pm – 6:45 pm: We all eat our meatball subs together.  Aiden eats some meatballs, bites of bread, some more peas and some banana.
6:45 pm – 7:00 pm: We give Aiden a little sponge bath since he already had a bath after the pool and then put his jammies on.
7:00 pm – 7:30 pm: I read Aiden some bedtime stories and then nurse him to sleep.
7:30 pm- 8:30 pm: I clean up the kitchen a little bit, pick up some toys, start a load of laundry and talk to David for a little while.
8:30 pm – 9:00 pm: I work on a quick blog post in bed and then I doze off to sleep nearly the minute I hit schedule to publish.
**This is a pretty typical day for us. Â If we don’t go to the gym, we’ll meet up with some friends, or go to a storytime or play at the park.**
