It’s that time again – this week’s top five Friday favorites. I found lots of good stuff this week I think.
We have a race filled agenda for the weekend. I’m running a 5k on Saturday morning and David is running a half marathon Sunday morning. We have two early mornings and I really hope Aiden enjoys the fresh morning air, so he’s not too cranky.

One would think that if you follow step by step directions, projects would turn out as they are supposed to, but sometimes this is not the case. I have to say I am getting more crafty in my mom days though. Anyways, here are some easy and fun activities to do with the little ones!
18 Moves to Terrifically Toned Inner Thighs. I have decided that I really need to lift more weights and tone my body – particularly my inner thighs and triceps. I need to start doing these ASAP for the pool season.

Foods That Regrow From Your Kitchen Scraps. I find this interesting. We did this with scallions last year and those little suckers are durable. I swear nothing will kill them! I’m going to try a few more this year.
How to Make Italian Sodas. I absolutely love italian sodas. I used to get one like every day in high school from this little drive thru called Pony Express. I haven’t had one in lots of years, but was randomly thinking about them the other day. These contain half and half in them, so if you can consume dairy, please make these! They are a nice little treat.
