It’s time for another Top Five Friday Favorites! I have lots of things making me smile this week, but below you will find a few highlights.
There was also a new podcast up today!
Aiden, Otis and I are in Nebraska at grandma’s house until Saturday morning and then that afternoon we have a birth class reunion – 1st birthday celebration in Denver. Â I also get to see my sister and Dave overnight on Sunday night. Â Spring is also on the horizon and needless to say, I’m excited for this weekend!
My mom showed me this recipe and said it was right up my alley. Â I totally agree. Â I love jam, chia seeds, blackberries and in this recipe, there is no need for canning. Â Did you know that chia seeds are a great super food with protein, omega fatty acids, carbs, antioxidants and calcium? Woop woop.
I think this herb garden is adorable! Â I love the rustic look with the distressed wood and chic mason jars. Â Maybe my black thumb will turn green this summer when David and I plant our herb garden. Â Wishful thinking?
These were featured on Shark Tank and I’ve seen them tons of places since.  I think they are the cutest baby shoes I’ve ever seen and I’ve heard that they stay on baby feet wonderfully.  However, I really cannot justify spending $60 for a pair of these babies.
I have loved Jillian Michaels for the past 10 years – I’ve listened to her podcast, watched Biggest Loser and now attended her new Maximize Your Life Tour. Â I really appreciate her brutal honesty because she does it out of a good place in her heart. Â I think she genuinely cares about people and wants them to reach their potential, so she pushes them to uncomfortable places to dig deep. Â I admire her.
These shirts are the softest shirts ever.  I wish they made them in my size because I would own lots of them!  My sister bought Aiden three of them for last summer and now she bought him two more this year and I can’t wait to put them on him again!  They are also really cute, but slightly pricey for baby clothes.
 And that’s a wrap.
