MIM 011 | My Breastfeeding Journey Through 11 Months

Ali-Podcast-Cover-225 In this episode of the Mother in Me Podcast, I share my breastfeeding journey through 11 months.  There have been a few obstacles especially in the beginning that we overcame and have successfully been breastfeeding for 11 months.  I talk about how to overcome the tribulations I faced such as poor latch, painful feedings and dehydration in the baby.

I can’t believe it’s been 11 months already.  I always thought that seemed so far away in the beginning, but here we are and truthfully, it’s been a breeze for several months now.  I plan on breastfeeding Aiden as long as he wants to, so who knows how long that will be, but I anticipate somewhere around 18 months.

  1. Just found your blog, and I love it! My little guy is almost 10 months, and still nurses 6-7 times a day, so it’s helpful to hear he’s not alone! Solid foods are day to day ( some days he eats a lot, some days he completely refuses), and sometimes I feel like people around me think I’m weird for still nursing him!

  2. We still have the same thing with solids. Yesterday he are a huge lunch and today barely anything and it was the exact same thing. Thanks for listening and/or reading!
