Top Five Friday Favorites

Here we are the Friday before Christmas – does everyone have everything done for the big day?  I’m a little scattered over here, but I think we’re good!

I really really like all these links a lot, so here you go!

10 Free and Meaningful Gifts.   Most of these things can be for anyone!  Remember, the best things in life are free.

Carrot Cake with Buttermilk Glaze. I cannot eat this with the food intolerances I’m currently dealing with, but how delicious does this look?  I absolutely love carrot cake and could quite possibly demolish this entire thing.  It looks so moist and flavorful.

Winter Boost Juice. We could all use a little extra vitamins in our system during the winters.  We tend to eat less veggies than in the summer months and illnesses run more rampant.  This juice looks yummy and your body would certainly love it too.  (In this link the English version is at the bottom).

Autumn-Colored Coleslaw. Apparently, I need to eat more veggies because I feel like my body is begging for them.  Lots of recipes that look good to me this week are veggie-fueled.  Anyways, this is no exception!  I love the colors in this salad and the lemon-tahini dressing that goes over it is healthy and looks good too.  Bonus that it’s gluten, dairy and egg free!

Off-Shoulder Oversized Sweater.  Nothing says comfort to me more these days than oversized chunky sweaters.  I could live in one!  They are a little hard to find when I’m specifically looking for them though. I love this one from Nordstroms, but it says that it’s not available anymore.  If you find one, send me the link please.

We will be spending the weekend in Minneapolis with the family and I’m excited about it.  I wish it was under different circumstances, but family time is family time.
