{Virtual} Coffee Date

I have a bunch of random topics on my mind today, so we’re gonna go with it and pretend we’re on a coffee date.

Pour yourself a nice mug of your favorite morning beverage, get comfy and let’s chat.

If we were on a coffee date, I’d tell you…

… I went to my acupuncturist (yes, I need one too) and together we decided that some of my issues with inflammation and fatigue are coming from food intolerances.  I got tested a year and a half ago and know that I have a sensitivity to eggs, dairy and gluten.  I completely disregarded that while I was pregnant and for the last 8 months and now it’s time to get back on track so that I can feel great!

… Aiden slept really well on Saturday night despite the fact that I’m convinced he’s going to cut his first tooth soon.  He is showing all the classic signs like drooling like a mad man, shoving his fists in his mouth, screaming in pain occasionally, has red cheeks, etc.

… I think I’m going to try a spin class this week.  I’ve been going to do it for a while now and I just keep putting it off.  I think the time has come my friends.  I’m excited!

… David’s 30th Birthday is on Saturday.  We have big plans that I’ll talk about later!  I can’t believe that we’re now getting out of our 20’s and into our 30’s.  Holy cow when did we grow up?

… I am loving this time of year.  I always have and knew it would grow when I lived in Denver where there is a fall season (versus Phoenix).  Holidays are even more fun when you have kids.  I can’t wait to have Aiden eat Thanksgiving dinner with us, show him Santa Claus and celebrate his first Christmas! Tis the season.

… We have been pretty lucky with the weather so far.  This past weekend it was a perfect 60 degrees.  I think we might have a storm brewing, but that’s exciting too.  I like the snow.

… We had a low key weekend with lots of family time, trips to the dog park, walks, cooking, and watching football.

That’s what I would tell you on a coffee date, what would you tell me?

Does anyone have any good recipes that are gluten, dairy and egg free? Boring huh?

Who else is excited for the holiday season?
