Top Five Friday Favorites

I hope everyone had a happy and safe Halloween last night!  We went to downtown Parker and strolled along the street with our little puppy in tow.  Even though he’s too young to trick or treat, I think he liked looking at all the other kids dressed up too!

With that said, here are this week’s Friday favorites!

Crockpot Caramel.  I saw this a similar rendition to this last year and was really intrigued.  I never made it, but when it popped up on my Pinterest this year, I remembered it again.  I think I might have to make it to put in some holiday indulgence this year.  Who doesn’t love some good caramel?

Popeye Muffins. Now that we’ve covered an unhealthy favorite, let’s cover a healthy one… mmmkay?  These look very enticing to me.  I love putting spinach in my smoothies and you can never taste it, so why would muffins be any different?  I bet kids would probably love these too!  What a great way to sneak a nutritional punch into some yummy food.

The Wonders of Photoshop.  Everyone knows that all cover models are airbrushed and don’t really look like that in real life.  This video shows exactly what they do to create those images and it’s pretty incredible and interesting.

Raspberry Butter.  One of my favorite foods in life is probably jam.  I eat it on things that probably shouldn’t be eaten with jam.  This raspberry butter looks delicious and I would love to curl up on the couch with an english muffin topped with this butter and some tea.

Baby Shower Idea. I love this idea for either a baby shower or wedding shower.  A lot of showers ask you to write advice or a story for the couple which is so cute, but this gives more direction, which I really like.

That’s all for the Friday favorites.  I hope everyone has a great weekend.  My mom and aunt will be in town, so we’ll be soaking up some family time!
