I haven’t done a post on this in a while now and I thought it might be time – what does Aiden really need at 7 months? Â There’s so much baby gear out there that it’s hard to decide what to get and what not to although I do think it’s much easier now than it was trying to decipher what to register for.
Here we go!
Baby Gate(s)Â – Now with him crawling and climbing, this is a must!
Play Pen – Similar to the first one, this is nice to keep them contained.  This particular one has little toys attached to the “wall” of it that Aiden likes to play with.  I can actually get the dishes done or the bed made with this taking over our living room.
Sophie the Giraffe – We introduced Sophie to Aiden a few months ago and he didn’t really care for her, but he found her again and loves it.  We hear that thing squeaking all the time and see it in his mouth.  It’s a great toy for the car (if you can stand the noise).  It’s also really easy to clean!
Wish Garden Herbs Cold Season – The other day David and I were concerned that Aiden was wheezing a little bit, so I went to Natural Grocers and picked this up and by the second dose, he was jut fine.  I like this line of herbs for both pediatrics and adults.  They have tinctures for colic, immunity, colds, coughs, and stomach aches.  They don’t taste the best, but they are worth the yucky taste.
BOB Revolution Stroller – This goes without saying for any age, but we use this stroller almost daily.  We couldn’t be happier with it!  It goes with us anywhere from the mall (when I’m not wearing him) to the dog park and on walks through lots of terrain.  It’s exceptionally easy to use and store and it’s comfortable to push and I think comfortable for Aiden too!
Aden and Anais Sleep Sack – We use this every.single.night.  We’ve tried having him sleep in fleece sleepers (since it got cold) and he doesn’t sleep near as well as he does when he is wearing this blanket.  We love this thing!  The material is breathable and it’s easy to wash.  They also come in various layers for the different seasons.
Touch and Feel Books – Aiden loves to touch everything to decipher texture, so he loves these books!  There is about 100 themes of these also.
Fisher Price Brilliant Basics Baby’s First Blocks – We noticed that we should get this toy for Aiden when he was constantly trying to stick things through the slats in the play pen.  He obviously can’t put the shapes through the holes, but he likes to play with the shapes and the container and I know one day, he’ll play with it as a whole!
These are the items that I feel like we use every day right now. Â Of course there are the essentials that we use too – like baby spoons, high chair, baby bowls, etc., too!
