Here are some pictures from the weekend…
David and I ventured out of the neighborhood to see some more of our new city! We drove out to Morrison which is where the famous Red Rocks Amphitheater is located. Neither one of us had really been there before and there are lots of cool hiking trails plus the amphitheater museum and the amphitheater itself.
We also really want to go to a concert there this summer. It’s a very intimate place for a concert.
I knew that a lot of people used the steps to workout, but I was amazed at just how many! It was really cool to see that many people working out in January in Colorado outside together. I really wish we lived closer (and when I wasn’t pregnant) so I could utilize the place more.
After exploring Red Rocks, we were starving for lunch and wanted to go somewhere we hadn’t been before. We’ve been exploring the Washington Park area lately and have seen a lot of cute little restaurants that we’ve been wanting to try. We made the decision to go to Gaylord Street to Il Vicino, a wood fired pizza joint. I was so hungry I forgot to take a picture of this greatness. It was one of the best pizzas I’ve had in a while. They have locations in other cities, so see if there is one in yours!
We obviously also spent some time at the dog park for the little mister.
We also saw some friends, watched some football, and I tried to get my business website in order! It’s becoming more of a reality now and I’m excited.
