Pregnancy Journey: Week 22

I got tired of my hair getting in my way when I toss and turn in bed at night that I chopped it off!  I wanted it to be about 2 inches longer, but we all know it’ll grow fast!  It feels good for it to be off my neck I must say.
Size of Baby: Papaya

Weight Gain: Not totally sure for the week… I weight 130 lbs. now and started at 117 lbs.  I had some major water weight again.

How I’m Feeling: I’m feeling good still.  I have had some heartburn still, but might be getting a little better (although I feel it as I’m typing this).

We packed up our house and moved this week.  I worked really hard one day when we were packing and was exhausted for two days!  I was also dehydrated for a couple days too!

I think due to the dehydration my pee has been off.  It’s been a little darker and I’ve had a harder time with getting the stream going (TMI).

I’m also waking up in the middle of the night and sometimes having a harder time going back to sleep.  I like to think that it’s to prepare me for motherhood needing less sleep.

Other than that, no much new to report.  My back pain is feeling better.

Doctor’s Appointment:  No appointment until Halloween when I get to meet my new midwives group in Denver.  

What I’m Eating: Since we were in the process of packing and moving, I didn’t have a kitchen to work with and we ate out more.  I tried to make healthier choices, but still didn’t have the healthiest week in eating.  I don’t really have any aversions other than cooked veggies (like zucchini), but zucchini bread on the other hand is just fine!

I missed my malt-o-meal in the mornings! I’ve been eating it everyday for a couple weeks and just can’t get enough.  I’m kind of over my cravings for breakfast sandwiches.

I craved a pumpkin bagel with pumpkin cream cheese because I saw it on someone else’s blog.  I can say no to my cravings, but it’s harder to do than when I wasn’t pregnant!

Exercise:
Walking 3 miles every single day and trying to do strength training every other day.  My body is getting better with that; it’s not insanely sore anymore when I do it, but it feels good.  David and I are going to start going to the gym in the mornings now after we get moved because he works at 7:30 am instead of 5:30 am.  Woo Hoo!!

What I Miss: Nothing!

I’m still waiting very patiently for my peanut to start kicking.  I haven’t felt him yet and I’m starting to get anxious.  I have an anterior placenta, which the doctor said would make me feel him later.
