Lazy Memorial Day + Weekly Workout Plan

HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY!

This weekend David and I had a nice relaxing one that was spent together nearly every minute of the 3 days we had off!

On Saturday morning, we picked up our bountiful basket for the week!  We never know what we are getting, so there is a little bit of anxiousness that awaits us on Saturday mornings!

In our basket, we received:

  • 3 artchokes
  • 5 avocados
  • 3 green zucchinis
  • 5 tomatoes
  • a handful of green apples
  • 2 yellow peppers
  • potatoes
  • bananas
  • 5 ears of corn
  • 1 cantaloupe
  • 1 head of romaine lettuce

I’m probably forgetting something, but it was lots of yummy things!  David and I have to break out of the box and think of something to do with the artichokes (and fast because they aren’t going to be good for much longer). We got all local produce for $15!  Pretty good deal if you ask me:)

We also spent a lot of time going to the dog park! Check out the transformation…

We probably went a solid 5 times just to wear Otis out and leave us with some peace… not that we don’t love our crazy lil’ baby.

Workout plan for the week

I already kind of messed up on this because my workout today was cut short because I sampled too much taco chili before stepping on the treadmill around noon.  Note to self: Avoid taste testing that equal a meal before HIIT training.
