First things first! Yesterday I did a great 45 minute treadmill workout that took me to about 4.10 miles! It was a great boredom-buster and way to incorporate intervals. I modified this workout from Julie.
Secondly, I made a great simple breakfast recipe yesterday! How about some apple cinnamon steel cut oats that make themselves. Think crock pot.
Ingredients: Steel cut oats, almond milk, water, cinnamon, apples, brown sugar, and salt.
Crock Pot Apple Cinnamon Steel Cut Oatmeal
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 5 hours
- 3 apples, cored and cut into small pieces
- 3 cups almond milk (or any kind of milk)
- 3 cups water
- 2 cups uncooked steel cut oatmeal
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
