This is going to be my first half marathon in over a year, so I’m taking the training slow. Â I’m still getting back into running, but I feel that I have a base, so now it’s time to ramp it up! Â Also, I have a crazy life schedule that is all over the place and varies week to week, so my long run day will alternate between Thursdays and Saturdays. Â I won’t be able to run at all on Mondays and Fridays, which is fine by me. Â I’m also trying to incorporate some HIIT training because it’s amazing and some strength training. Â Without further adieu, here it is!
I am not getting as much training as I probably should, but this is what is going to work for me and my schedule for the time being! Â I’m not concerned with time whatsoever, so this will work for that! If you are looking for a good training program, I like to use Hal Higdon or go to Sole Sports and they have online training programs.
