We all know that both sugar and artificial sweeteners are bad for us, but not many people actually know why. Â We may think that sugar makes us fat and that artificial sweeteners are unnatural, but this article will tell you just how unnatural these little multi-million dollar packets of “fake” sugar really are.
Sucralose: SPLENDA is made from sucrose (real table sugar) by replacing atoms with chlorine atoms. Â Chlorine-carbon structures are the same structure as are in DDT, which is used to kill pesticides.
Aspartame: Nutra-Sweet is a non-carbohydrate sweetener made of aspartic acid and a methyl ester of phenylananine. Â This is scientifically proven to cause BRAIN TUMORS. Â Phenylalanine may cause phenylketonuria (PKU) for people that cannot metabolize it.
Saccharine: Sweet N’ Low is a non-carbohydrate artificial sweetener banned in Canada as it may cause bladder tumors. Â The FDA approves it in the U.S.
Refined sugar may be considered a poison because it has been depleted of its life forces, vitamins and minerals. Â It is lethal when ingested by humans it provides only that which nutritionists describe as “empty” or “naked” calories. Â It lacks the natural minerals which are present in the sugar beet or cane.
Sugar taken every day produces a continuously overacid condition, and more and more minerals are required from deep in the body in the attempt to rectify the imbalance. Â When the liver is filled to its maximum capacity, the excess glycogen is returned to the blood in the form of fatty acids.
Excessive sugar has a strong mal-effect on the functioning of the brain.
The key to orderly brain function is glutamic acid, which is a vital compound found in many veggies! Â The B vitamins play a major role in glutamic acid processing. Â B vitamins are also manufactured by symbiotic bacteria which live in our intestines. Â When refined sugar is taken daily, these bacteria die, our stock of B vitamins gets very low, glutamic acid is not processed and sleepiness occurs.
Sugar is a major factor in dental decay!
Sweeteners to Choose
I obviously eat sugar and sometimes I eat artificial sweeteners as well, but after this lesson last night, artificial sweeteners are definitely out! Â I decided that I can go without eating these foods in lieu of serious medical issues! Â It’s everyone’s choice on the foods they choose to consume, but I think that everyone should be educated. Â Please think twice about consuming sweeteners next time because now days there are plenty of options out there that are naturally sweetened in a body-friendly way:)
