When I got home from school yesterday, David had already gone to Whole Foods to pick up some dinner goods. Â We had decided on eating caesar salads that morning, so that’s what it was. Â Sometimes we like to go to the fresh food bar and get the other vegetables for our meals. Â He picked up some cherry tomatoes, water chestnuts, the biggest croutons I’ve ever seen, and some freshly grated parmesan to sprinkle on top. Â He got some free-range organic chicken breasts and some lettuce. Â We had caesar salad plus a few random ingredients (like water chestnuts), but it was delish.
It’s amazing how much better free-range organic chicken breasts taste than regular breasts now that I know the difference. Â The regular ones taste more chewy and like they have chemicals, hormones, and antibiotics raging through them. Â I much prefer the organic ones that taste light and go down much easier! Â I know they are more expensive but really it’s worth it when you think of all the crap the regular ones have in them. Â Not to mention how poorly the non-free-range ones are treated:(
Today’s Insanity workout was the long one (57 minutes wheeeew)! Â Some key moves of the max cardio interval workout:
- High knees
- Ski Abs – In and Out abs – Push Up Jacks
- Floor Sprits
- Jump squats x 3,000,000
- More Push Ups
- Jumping Lunges
In Insanity, Shaun T. picks 4-5 exercises per circuit. Â We do each one for 45 seconds and do each circuit 3 times…definitely go my sweat on and felt great.
From yesterday’s auction, the final total for the money raised was $26,432! You can read about more of the results here.
Off to study for finals this week!!
