Starting Out New

Hey Ya’ll out there,

This blog is my attempt to keep myself accountable in both fitness and healthy eating.  I am a relatively healthy eater now, but I consume a few too many Lean Cuisines when I get lazy in the kitchen.  I recently got married and it’s now time to break out my inner domestic diva!  I am going to try to get creative in the kitchen so I don’t turn into a Lean Cuisine.  I’ll try about anything that’s edible so this task shouldn’t be hard to get variety.  I try to get the veggies in everyday, but I’m a girl and girls like sugar!

I am also going to post daily workouts, so that I feel accountable to get it done.  I love running, yoga, bootcamps…pretty much all active activities.  A few weeks ago, 15 days to be precise, my husband and I started the “Insanity” home DVD’s.  They make me one sweaty mess and definitely do what they claim!  I’ll post my progress on this as well… so far so good.

I am going to school to be an acupuncturist and chinese medicine herbalist.  I have a passion for alternative medicine and love to help people in this realm.  I love talking to people about living healthy (with some indulgence too obviously). I’m aiming to be done with this in 18 months and then I have no idea where this will lead me.  For all of you who haven’t tried it yet, I promise it works, it’s not scary, and it doesn’t hurt.
